Songs I’ve Co-Written

Here are some Work Tapes of original songs that I’m currently working on at Big Tent Nashville with our writing teams. These recordings were Produced by Siena Loren in STEINBERG’S CUBASE 12 Pro. After a writing sessions, we like to do a recording of our new songs so that we can listen to them and re-write any parts that we feel need more work and also step-back from them a little bit so that we can think about production.

I’m playing Acoustic or Electric Guitar on these recordings, Cody Walden is the singing on most of them and Siena Loren is playing Electric Bass.

We like to release new songs on an ongoing basis so you can find them on Spotify, Apple Music or on your favorite streaming platform or just click the “Play Button” next to these songs to listen now.

Hope you like one or two of my songs !!!!

SLOW & LOW ROCK AND RYE - I was recently invited to a CD Release Party here in Nashville by Artist Kiely Connell and was HONORED to learn that two songs that I Co-Wrote with her were record and released by her on her latest CD. This young lady has one of the most AMAZING VOICES that you'll ever hear and I'm sure you'll love her voice as much as I do. Here's our song SLOW & LOW ROCK AND RYE from her latest album CALUMET QUEEN

REVIVAL

I Co-Wrote REVIVAL with my good friends Cody Walden and Lazaro Rodriguez. After we finished writing and recording REVIVAL, we all felt that it was something “larger” than just this one song. REVIVAL inspired us to write and produce additional songs based on an Old Fashioned Tent Revival and we’re working on writing a Musical. Hopefully someday in the not-too-distant future, we’ll be able to bring “REVIVAL THE MUSICAL” to life, because “We All Need A Little Revival.”

Running On Fumes

To me, the best things about being a songwriter here in Nashville is that you get the opportunity to Co-Write songs with Artists who have AMAZING Voice like Kiely Connell. Running On Fumes was Co-Written at Big Tent Nashville by Kiely Connell, Lisa Daye and me. I played Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar and Slide Guitar on that recording that was Produced by Evan Brown.

Dry Spell

Dry Spell is a song about recovering from alcoholism. I brought it to a writing session at Big Tent Nashville with Cody Walden a and by Kristen Parisi. Like always, Cody had a very unique perspective on how to approach writing the song lyrically and that’s one of the reasons that we LOVE Co-Writing with him.

This song was Produced by Siena Loren I wrote and played the Acoustic Guitar parts on this recording.

Old School Love

It’s extremely challenging to walk into a writing session, meet an Artist for the first time and finish a song with them in one three hour session. Canadian Artist Emily Clair was on a “Writing Trip” to Nashville and her management team invited Kristen Parisi and I to Co-Write a new song with her. Normally at the end of a writing session we grab a quick “Cell Phone” recording of our new song but we had a little extra time that afternoon so some Acoustic Guitar parts, Kristen tracked a Bass part and Emily added her vocals. You can click the link below to hear our “Work-Tape” of Old School Love.
